5 & Under Initiative Technical Assistance The information sessions for the initiative will be scheduled for late 2007 and early 2008. Information sessions provide an opportunity for potential applicants to ask questions and learn more about the Initiative. We strongly urge organizations that currently operate programs that are aligned with the Initiative’s intent to contact us for a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Any organization interested in submitting a proposal must attend an information session and followup with the grants staff to discuss their project prior to submitting an application. We are targeting this audience because the RFP states that preference will be given to proposals that are submitted by organizations that operate existing programs that demonstrate the knowledge and capacity to have an impact on the problem of child poverty.
